The sanction according to the Acting Director-General of the commission, Prof. Armstrong Idachaba, will be a fine of 3 million Naira each for their ‘unprofessional coverage’ of #EndSARS protest across the nation.

The DG said that the actions of Arise TV,  Channels TV and AIT, are a “gross violation” of the broadcast code.

He says that this will be the last warning before a heavier sanction will be introduced.
