Nigerian celebrities including Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz; and pop star, Runtown, Ex Big Brother Naija Reality Television Stars, Elozonam Ogbolu and Prince Enwerem have joined voices calling for an end to police brutality and extra-judicial killings.
The protest started on Wednesday with young people gathering at Ikeja Underbridge displaying placards and sharing videos and photos online using the hashtag #LagosProtests. They vowed to continue the protest for the next three days.
The protest took the street from the background of the inhumane actions of some police officers and the conversations online, all calling for an end to the police brutality in the country.
