On behalf of the management and entire staff of the Ministry of Tourism Culture and Hospitality, the Chairman, members of the Steering Committee, entire membership of
the Planning Committee of Plateau NAFEST 2020, the Tourism Practitioners and all other critical Stakeholders, I wish to congratulate his Excellency the Executive
Governor of Plateau State Rt. Hon. Dr. Simon Bako Lalong for successfully hosting the just concluded 33rd edition of NAFEST 2020 held in Jos the State capital.

We wish to also appreciate his Excellency’s magnanimity in ensuring that the national festival that
unites the nation came to fruition despite the Covid-19 pandemic. Your commitment and unflinching support towards revamping the culture and tourism sector in the State will resound in history. We wish you God’s guidance and protection as you steer the State to greater glory.

Our appreciation also goes to His Royal Majesty Da Jacob Gyang Buba, the Gbong Gwom Jos and the Chairman, Plateau State Traditional Council of Chiefs and Emirs as well as the council for all the support and advices which contributed to the success of NAFEST 2020.

We thank the first lady, Her Excellency, Mrs. Regina Lalong, for making out time to host the Children of the NAFEST 2020 contingents, to a reception.

We equally appreciate the Plateau Indigenous Development Association (PIDAN) for their unflinching support and COMMITMENT to the success of the event.

A special “thankyou” to ALGON Plateau State for ensuring mobilization of participants
from the 17 Local Government Areas of the State to this epoch event.

To individuals, groups and associations across the nation who contributed to the
success of NAFEST 2020, we say thank you.

Finally we wish to most sincerely appreciate all sons and daughters of Plateau State who came out in their numbers to encourage and participate at NAFEST 2020. We appreciate you all very much.
