Amidst the heavy stereotypes of notoriety, ill fame, cultism and drug abuse hovering over the suburban community of Tudun Wada Jos, a group of young people in the community still stood tall to work towards changing the narrative of their community.

These group of young and vibrant community development enthusiasts Inspired by SDGs 3, 4, 11, and 17, established for themselves and their community of over 10,000 people, a library that will provide books and study materials for children, teenagers and young people, while also doubling as a safe space that will spur conversations towards achieving the goals of the Initiative.

The project idea which started in April 2020, was launched on the 30th of January 2021 after rigorous efforts by the team to make sure that the dream is achieved.

Present at the library opening was the Former Tudun Wada Youth Leader, Kefas Mwanret Dagin (Senzy), The Red Cross Society, and a host of other organisations and notable individuals in the community
