Its center is along Zaria road in Bassa to the north-east of the Area at 9°38′00″N9°47′00″E. Its residents are predominantly Buji, even though the town has other settlers around based on its proximity to the city capital and the NNPC depot in Plateau state.

Mista-Ali as this land is called in some instances is the adulterated name for Messrs Mc Alley, a mining camp established in 1921 as Messrs Mc Alley & Nicholls. The camp was located in the place we popularly called Office. This adulteration can be attributed to mistakes in the pronunciation of Mc Alley as Mista-Ali or Mr Ali.
Mc Alley is Located at 12km, off Zaria Road, from Good Luck Ebele Jonathan road, Gada Biu and Farin Gada Road, Jos – Plateau StateNigeria. It’s in Pengana Constituency, Bassa LGA of Plateau State. The Climate reflects the beauty of Plateau State as it is surrounded by mountains. This land has a lot on offer in terms of Agriculture , Tourism , Mining , Quarrying , Trade and commerce. Because of the serenity of the Land, it “hosts” the annual NCCF Camp among other events.
