As Operation Show Your Driver’s License Commences, Andrew Bala Says that the possession of a valid driver’s license remains a major requirement for driving on the Road.

The Sector Commander FRSC Plateau State Sector Command Corps Commander Alphonsus Godwin, wishes to inform the general motoring public and motorists plying the roads in Jos and its environs, that the Command will be carrying out a Special Patrol, tagged: Operation Show your driver’s license ” as from Monday 5th July, to Sunday 11 July, 2021.

The possession of valid driver’s license by motorists remains a major requirement for driving on the road and the absence of it constitutes grave traffic infraction and endangering to the lives of other road users. It is on this regards, the Command is embarking on the Special patrol operation to clampdown on erring motorists in order to remove unlawful and quack drivers on our roads. The categories of drivers on the look out include: drivers with no valid licenses, drivers with expired licenses and drivers driving with temporary expired licenses.

The Command appeals to motorists and general public to cooperate with our personnels while the operations lasts as deviation will be met with the full wrath of the law.
